My Talking Calculator Editor's Review

As the name suggests, 'My Talking Calculator' is intended to be a talking calculator. The good thing is that it talks, but when it comes to calculating something, it might generate errors or 'say' stupid things. For example, when I made it calculate '999 + 1' the spoken result was 'one thousand hundred'. It can calculate big equations, but if you forget to close a bracket you won't know what's wrong, because if you press calculate it won't work and it won't 'talk' either. If you press calculate without having an '=' sign at the end of the equation, the program will stop working normally. This happens only for a few operations.

If you write the equation from the keyboard, the program can't process the data fast enough and some errors might appear. There are five buttons for the last five results, but if you press these buttons one after another, the results are all displayed without any separators. In my opinion, that's not right because that kind o display has no use. Another annoying thing is the 'Stop talking' button that doesn't work.

Pluses: It can solve equation, so it's better than the Windows Calculator.

Drawbacks / flaws: Difficult to use. It has some stability and functionality issues.

In conclusion: This program needs a major update to be worth trying.
